I had so much fun shooting the Puzzle Scuttle 5K a couple weeks ago. This event was put together by my close friend Katherine Hooker (@katehooker) to benefit The Child Study Center of Fort Worth. CSC is an amazing organization that works with children with neurodevelopmental disorders with a focus on Autism. The race started with a 1k fun run for all of the kids. This will be a yearly event for the Center, so if you live in the DFW metroplex make sure you sign up next year! Also, check out the Center’s site for a look at the amazing things they’re doing for children in the area.
Here is a sneak peek of the JJ and the Rogues (@jjandtherogues) show I shot recently at The Cavern in Dallas. They are a fantastic band and SUCH nice guys. Thanks for letting me shoot you guys! More to come…
HUGE thanks to my friend Charlie Howlett (@chhowlett) who designed me this amazing logo. He’s such a talented designer and I’m so lucky to call him a friend. Thanks, Charlie!
What do you think?

I had fun meeting Chris Ryan and shooting a fabulous party benefiting the Big Brother Big Sisters of Dallas and HOBY (Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership). The party was at the lovely Ryan Manor in Dallas. It was a fun event with lots to take in. Here are some fun shots.

Mingle, mingle under the chandeliers. The Ryan Manor has beautiful interiors, and there happened to be a Scotch tasting in this room, so it was rather popular.

A phenomenal artist crafted a painting right in front of the crowd (in the freezing cold might I add) and auctioned it off to benefit BBBS and HOBY.

The wonderful Kelly Simants of Sweet Pea Events who hooked me up with the gig.

The most touching speech of the evening. What started as a big sis, lil sis pair ended as a mother and daughter.

These are probably the cutest kids in the entire world. Here are some of my favorite shots from the Kiker family’s recent session. Can’t wait to shoot these little munchkins again.

This is probably my favorite sequence…

I’ve been shooting freelance for the Fort Worth Weekly for a few months now. I love shooting for this publication and I enjoy the places it takes me even more, so I was ecstatic when I found out last week that one of my shots for the story on local recording studios was going to be on the cover. I’m so proud to share this shot (even though i’ve reproduced it terribly here) with you all. Read the full story here. Also, check out Zaq Bell’s (cover portrait) Fusion Project Studio here. Inside the pub you’ll also find features on Curtis Heath of Fort Worth’s own The Theater Fire and Nick Choate’s Blue Smoke Studios.
This was such a fun shoot for me. Watching music being made is so beautiful.

Ashley & Kris are engaged! I was lucky enough to shoot engagements for this sweet couple recently. Kris is a baseball coach so for the first part of our shoot we headed to the field where he coaches. We had a blast shooting with baseballs, bats and even their adorable dog Grommet! After the baseball field, we headed to downtown Frisco. Here are some of my favorites from the shoot.

A quick shot from my sister’s engagement session last weekend in North Carolina! I had so much fun shooting these.
